I'm curious if the program/event schedules get released before the first day of Anthrocon. I'm trying to plan the event out better as last year I was overwhelmed by how much bigger the con was since my first time in 2004. Does anyone know if that happens or is possible?

The schedule is usually available between two and four weeks before the convention.  It's posted here, and has been available in an app called SCHED, IIRC.

To avoid problems with parents, read this FAQ and all its internal links before discussing Furry with your parents:

I didn't see it posted here, or the schedule link to the left updated,
but I just now thought of looking for it and found it at https://anthrocon.sched.com/

The GoH link was never updated either - more evidence for the death of the forums Sad
